It's
peach pickin' and eatin' and freezin' time,
yum!
We
have a little peach tree that gives everything it's got.
This is less than 1/3
of its fruit.
Our little tree seems to throw caution
to the wind, it has no fear,
producing hundreds of beautiful peaches,
jeopardizing its existence
by filling it's branches so full of fruit they
risk splitting the tree right in half. Producing
peaches is it's job and it embraces the job wholeheartedly.
Seriously,
that little tree inspires me.
It reminds me of Christ's teachings about good
trees and good fruit.
"...every
good tree bringeth forth good fruit...
A good tree cannot bring forth evil
fruit,
neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit...
Wherefore by their
fruits ye shall know them." -
Matthew 7:17-20
We
have a good tree and it's knocking it out of the park!!
