Our favorites of Christmas...

Merry Christmas everyone!
We hope you had a wonderful celebration full of your favorite things.

Our favorite of all is Jesus
and our church Sacrament Meeting/Worship Service
was one for the ages,
full of the Spirit of God,
testifying of The Savior,
beautiful music,
and wonderful friends and family!

(picture from internet)

Another favorite was talking with our missionaries!!
How we love them!!

We got to visit with Grandma's dear cousin, Zina <3
and help a good friend assemble a surprise for her children. =D

We played together,

laughed together,

and recovered from oral surgery together.
Okay, that's wasn't a favorite
but now that it's done we're sure relieved.

Giving gifts

and watching Rascal open his gifts
from Linda and Roxy was a favorite.

A few years ago,
the guys and I got to attend a service
at the local Thai Buddhist Temple.

Our girlie mentioned that she'd like to attend
a Catholic Midnight Mass
so we did that this Christmas.

Joe, the kind man in the picture below,
was a great help to us as we tried to follow along in the Missal.

Merry Christmas!
As our dear Hunter often says,
"We all need Jesus!"  <3

A Winter's Night...

Last night was our girlie's
High School Winter Formal Dance.

The theme was
"A Winter's Night"
and they even got enough snow to make it feel like winter
but not enough to make driving treacherous
(thank you, Heaven.)

These two made each other's flowers
the night before the dance.

The group had a great time playing games
and then ice skating till their feet hurt,
pictures,
dinner,
dancing,
and a movie.

They started at 10am and ended at midnight.

I say it every time
but it's such a great thing
to hear teenagers laughing and having fun!

What fantastic kids!!

Finals and cheerleaders!!

It's finals week for our twigs.

The kitchen table is buried

and the brains are lit!

As I was doing dishes today, I was thinking about
Lori Drake and Sandra Carter
who have been the best cheerleaders our daughter could have had.
Thank you dear ladies for being so supportive
of our girlie in her huge goals.
I hope you can know what a difference
your encouraging words have made.

Much love!

Ping Pong Fun!

It was probably 6 months ago that this sweet girl

shared with me this clever way she had seen
to store ping pong paddles and balls
so they weren't always in the way.

I searched and searched
but couldn't find the mail organizer in the picture.

Then I found these organizers and

presto chango!
Thanks Ash for your great idea!!

Let's play!
