Grown a foot or two...

The oldest twig has done it now!

His mission papers are turned in and he is awaiting "the call"...

One of the things we appreciate about the boy is his ability to laugh at himself and if you know the boy personally, you're aware he's not in the 95th percentile where height is concerned. 

These two observations came together like cookies & milk, Astaire & Rogers, or Stockton & Malone last night as the boy was leaving the Stake President's office. President Thompson said "Thanks for coming in, keep up the good work." To which the twig replied, "Thanks, will do. And I'll keep working on that 'grow a foot or two!'"

Laundry day...

It's laundry day. 
On a cold winter day I LOVE having my arms full of clean warm laundry, fresh from the dryer. I keep a picture of my beautiful little blue-eyed mother in my laundry room, just to remind me and keep me grateful on those days I'm not feeling grateful for laundry...

 

It's a tiny picture but it sure does the trick. There she is...outside with the honey making warehouse in the background and her dryer...a clothes line. Yup! Does the trick!

I'm SO grateful on laundry day to be able to take arms full of clean warm laundry, fresh from the dryer.
